We're still working on our itinerary, but as of now we are set on Dec. 27 for take off!  Our first goal is to visit Tikal and then get to Antigua, Guatemala for some survival Spanish classes!  :-)

Also, we are going to do most of our travel overland.  Our list of countries may seem overwhelming, but really we have a set of countries we will be spending more time in, while the others we are basically passing through, seeing the sites along the way.

With a major focus being put on Eastern Europe/Central Asia, I think I might try to pick up some Russian before we go.  Good luck to me!  Brian is now officially in charge of Chinese.
